Digitisasi Data Historis
DiDaH is a project on the digitization and use of high resolution historical climate data from Indonesia over the period 1850 to present. It is a joint effort of the National Meteorological Service of Indonesia (BMKG) and the Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute (KNMI).
What the project set out to deliver
The original . programme described three main results. Each of them is documented further in the project pages.
A website on climate extremes
A regional index of weather and climate extremes was published so researchers and policy makers could follow trends in the region, now carried forward through SACA&D.
Capacity building
Workshops and the exchange of scientists transferred data rescue and climatological methods between BMKG and KNMI. The 2012 workshop records the results.

The period covered by the observations recovered from the Indonesian region and from the KNMI archives.
Two meteorological services
Executed jointly by BMKG of Indonesia and KNMI of the Netherlands, under a declaration of intent and a memorandum of understanding.
